Happy tails to youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!! Blitzy, now Doc, has found his happily ever after with a perfect family. The Whiting Family had just lost their beloved border collie this past year, and they were finally able to begin their search for another sweet dog to welcome into their hearts. They originally came to the ranch looking at two other pups but they weren't the right fit. We presented them with Blitz and within minutes he had them wrapped around his little paw! He was starstruck with this sweet couple, and we can say the feeling was mutual.
Everyone's smiles speak volumes- happy tails!
Happpyyy taillllss to you!
Nhala has always seemed to come in last in life but not with this family. After being looked at by multiple families and being turned down time and time again, through no fault of her own, she has finally found the ONE! With three little boys to get home to she must hurry along her merry way.
Everyone has asked about the new female border collie that BNoble picked up from Corsicana. Bliss was her original name, and she was a matted up little mud ball when we got her. We got her cleaned up, got her vaccinated, and good food in her belly. She has a strong herding drive, willingness to learn new things, and the most beautiful, old soul. Bliss was following Ashlyn around on her bike the second day of being here. She would look up at Ashlyn as though she had put the stars in the sky at night. A couple laps around the pasture and driveway, Ashlyn decided to call this sweet girl Boost due to her ability to take off when Ashlyn would pedal quickly.
She has terrible storm anxiety which we experienced the first few nights of her being at the rescue. Shaking, panting, hiding, glazed eyes, drooling.. You name it- she was doing it. She hid under the office desk with Ashlyn and Rebel tucked in around her to help her feel comfortable. The storms we had last Wednesday morning were an improvement- no hiding, or drooling, slight shakes at the beginning, and regular panting. But this time she was snuggled up with Ashlyn and Rebel in bed.
Ashlyn worked with a few fosters with Boost to see where she would work best.. Boost tolerated the new people around her but kept a steady eye on our Ranch Manager. Ashlyn thought this foster would work out so she unpacked Boost's things from the truck and brought them into the foster's home. Boost watched quietly as Ashlyn set up her bed, set out her bowls, and put her bones down. The foster sat on the couch holding Boost's leash and speaking soft words to her as Ashlyn prepared to leave. Ashlyn crouched down with Boost and gave her a pat on the head explaining to her that this was the next step to finding her forever home. Boost never shook the eye contact with Ashlyn as though to say, "No. Please take me with you. You're my home." Ashlyn's heart shattered but decided to see what would happen if she walked out. So, out the door she went to get into her truck to come back to the ranch and even with her truck door shut, she could hear Boost barking, howling, and crying from the house. Ashlyn closed her eyes and leaned her head on the headrest, and with a deep sigh, thought about these past four days. She looked in her passenger seat to see her trusty pup Rebel staring back at her with pleading eyes. Boost had been everywhere with Rebel and Ashlyn since she's been here. Slept in the bed, rode in the truck, sat quietly as Ashlyn cared for both barns, and would even play with Rebel in the yard. Ashlyn pulled the keys back out of the ignition and walked back into the foster's house. Boost was sitting right inside of the door with her little feet shaking with anticipation. Our long time foster smiled at Ashlyn and handed her the leash. "Take her home. She's already found her forever." Boost and Ashlyn walked back to the truck with smiles and tail wags. Boost hopped into the truck and gave Rebel a quick lick on the nose. Needless to say, this sweet girl has found her forever home on a ranch in Argyle with her big brother Rebel and her new mom.
Happy tails, Boost!
Happpppppppyyyy tailllllsss to you!
Sammy boy who would have thought that the stars would align just right not just for you to be saved- but for you to find your happily ever after! You are so loved by everyone you meet and now you can hang out with your new siblings and parents. <3
May life now be filled with treats, full food bowls, clean water and many, many tail wags.
Thank y'all SO much for opening your heart and home to this sweet boy. He deserves it so much.
Happy tails, Sam!
Happy tails Sammy!! You will finally get the lap dog life you've longed for.
We are SO happy to announce that Reeses Pieces found her forever home with the Dech Family on July 10th!! Pictured here with her older sister- Tarra - and her big brother- Cole! Happy tails sweet girl.
HAAAPPPPPPPYYYY TAIIIILLLSSS!! Mr. Finn has found his forever home with his new parents!
Mr. Finn has held a snug spot in our hearts since we met him. A kind soul with eyes filled with complete forgiveness. As you remember, Finn came to us with tangled fur so bad that he could hardly walk. An older dog, heart worm positive with hair so tangled that he always looked sad and wouldn't walk to the kennel door to greet potential adopters.. Finn's time was short if rescue didn't step up. But thanks to our donors and supporters- we were able to pull the funds together to get this sweet boy out! His tail wagged when his freedom ride rolled in to pick him up. Took him home and got him some good food first. Next day he got a spa day to give him a full body shave since his knots were so close to his skin making it unbelievably painful to move. Like a true gentlemen he stood still for the groomer and stepped off the grooming truck like a new dog! Then began his heart worm treatment- sadly he is still positive but under BNoble's care he got to go to his new home today on a slow kill treatment. Finn will get rechecked in 6 months to see if he will be negative for good!!
Finn, thank you for reminding us the true love that all dogs can give, but especially older dogs. Do you know shelters are full of these older souls who have SO much to give to potential families? Potty trained, leash trained and just all around angels. So, next time you look to adopt through rescue or shelter, take a little longer look at dogs like Finn.. Truly are diamonds in the ruff! ;)
Happy tails, Mr. Finley. <3
You have been such a joy to have on the ranch. Your fireball personality, your hot shot mentality, and your good looks
all tucked into 55lb package makes you such an amazing boy. The amount of smiles you have brought to our faces and
hearts is uncountable. We are so proud of the dog you've turned into over these past seven months. You were the
roughest pup when we found you.. Only 40lb, matted/rough coat, and cut up feet. Mentally you were distraught and
we could tell you've been through a lot before you came to BNoble.. But your rough exterior only made us love you more.
Anything we have thrown your way you have tackled with ease.. Leash training, socializing with all of our dogs
(big and small), working fundraisers by our side, and just becoming a great family dog! Tomorrow you go to your new
home and we are so lucky we got to rehabilitate and then find you the best home. You get your own little girlfriend to
protect (and herd around the yard) and you also get your very own human all for yourself ! Long truck rides, weekly baths,
and a life of love are in your future.
We love you sweet boy. Thank you for being one of our very best Noble Champions!
Back in June 2014 we obtained four great pyrenees puppies. We have found a home for all four. But this post is
dedicated to the biggest sweetest furball- Mallory. Out of the four sisters we received Mallory was always the most
forgiving of people. She had a rough start with her sisters because their pregnant mom at the time was dumped and left
to care for her babies. They were soon able to catch the four sisters but no luck in finding mom or the brothers.
We brought them in and rehabilitated them for over a year. Mallory and her sister Maybree went to a new home together
in the winter of 2015.. But were returned after the owners decided they were to much to handle. At this point we patted
their heads and promised they could stay with us. A wonderful family ended up stepping forward and fell head over heels
for sweet Mallory. After making sure they understood Mallory had some issues due to her history they assured us they
would help her work through them. We had a thorough process before adopting because our sweet girl needed to be taken
care of like the queen she is. Little did sweet Mallory know she had just hit the pup lottery! This is why BNoble does
what we do. We want to bring families together and educate others about how rescuing animals can forever change your life.
Happy tails, Mallory. We love you and are beyond happy at the loving home you have found.
Bailey went to his new home on January 2, 2015 with Cindy and Betty. Bailey is going to become an amazing therapy partner for Betty! Below is our attached letter to for Bailey's farewell.
I can not even begin to tell you how proud I am of you. When you came you were underweight and scared of the world.
You didn't understand why your owners dumped you.. You were a handsome boy already.. Just mistreated. You were a
"designer dog" and knew how to sit, stay, lay down, and roll over. But for some reason your owner decided you were
not the dog for them. We couldn't have been more lucky! We originally went in to look at another dog.. You weren't
posted online, your picture was unseen and we never knew you were there until we had walked around the corner. Bailey,
you are truly a diamond in the rough. You weren't afraid of our 130lb dogs or 1500lb horses. You handled every single
obstacle we threw at you with ease. With our barn manager's hectic schedule you fit right in.. You went to the feed-store,
gas stations, Tractor Supply and even to go help haul hay and you never left Ashlyn's side through it all. Being the gentle
soul you treated every animal and person with the greatest love. You gave kisses, tail wags, and blessed us with countless
smiles. But today you get to go have your very own family and a new job. You will be helping a beautiful lady through
her pacemaker surgery and will be giving her the many smiles that you gave us. That sweet lady has not only found the
best dog but the best friend anyone could ask for. You will be showered in love, treats and toys for the rest of your
days. Thank you for being a wonderful Noble Champion to us and giving us so much laughter in this tough business.
We love you so much and wish you well.
Love, the BNoble Staff
